Vox Urbane was thrilled to collaborate with artist Alf Löhr at his studio in Whitstable, Kent. Alf welcomed the ensemble into his workplace, and for the first time the  professional singers in the group were able to meet and rehearse together with the Vox Urbane Next Gen Young Artists. We were all inspired by the exceptional artworks that surrounded us, and Alf in turn was intrigued to hear live singing in his usually silent workspace.

This project was the culmination of a series of meetings with Alf, together with Dan Ludford-Thomas and Helen Meyerhoff. Dan's new work One was written as a response to these meetings and Alf's work.
